Senior Photo Upload
Dear Class of 2025,
This is your year! It’s your turn to submit your senior portraits. Here’s what we’re looking for:
For the Senior Portrait section of the yearbook, please submit a vertical, color photo, without hats, props, or hand gestures. Head and shoulder shots are required.
Please tell your photographer about these requirements during your photoshoot to make sure you get an appropriate yearbook shot. It’s best if you send in a vertical shot that you have selected with your photographer. If your picture does not meet the requirements, the yearbook staff will have to crop the photograph to meet the requirements. While we will do our best, your photographer will do it better, so choose the correct picture from the start!
Props are also not allowed. Props include but are not limited to-- sports equipment, pets, vehicles, banners, flags, instruments, awards, etc. Basically, we want our annual to be classy; we want a picture of YOU and you alone.
Avoid selecting shots that include, for example, your hands by your face or your arms over your head-- these shots often look ‘strange’ when cropped in a small frame.
Portraits must be presented in a tasteful and appropriate manner according to the current, established dress code. Administration will be the final word on acceptable portraits.
Appeals to these requirements may be made to the building principal pending specific circumstances.
Your picture does NOT need to be done by a professional photographer. If you don’t want to use a professional photographer, you can have your picture taken on school picture day. Also, most phones and cameras these days take incredible photos. Grab some outfits, grab your camera, and go play with photography. Try some different poses in various locations.
Portraits need to be submitted by Nov 17, 2024.
